Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM), located on a 500-acre campus seven miles east of downtown Montgomery, Alabama, offers highly respected, accredited academic programs in a challenging and caring college environment. Our student body consists of approximately 5,200 students, approximately 1800 of which are graduate students. AUM also has international students on campus from 38 countries such as China, India, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sweden, Nepal, and Germany. Academic programs include 32 baccalaureate degrees, 23 master degrees, six education specialist degrees and two doctoral degrees (one of which is a joint program with Auburn University), as approved by the Alabama Commission on Higher Education.

Auburn University at Montgomery is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, masters, educational specialists, and doctoral degrees. Auburn University at Montgomery also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. AUM is organized into five academic units: the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Nursing & Health Sciences, and the College of Sciences. Each college offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and offers courses in traditional, hybrid, and online formats. Courses taught in the traditional format are offered during the day, in the evening, and on weekends.
