Alcohol & Drug Enforcement

We want to provide you a safe, productive edcational and work environment that is free of the illegal use of alcohol and other drugs. The university prohibits the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispersion, possession or use of illegal drugs or alcohol by students or employees on university property and at university activities. Whether you are a student or an employee, if you are impaired by drugs or alcohol, you cannot be present in the workplace, in class or at any university activity. We want you to be informed of the risks associated with alcohol or substance abuse, so every year in the third week of October, we recognize National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week. We'll provide a series of free programs focusing on alcohol and substance abuse issues.

AUM will impose sanctions consistent with local, state, and federal laws upon all employees and students who violate these standards of conduct. Sanctions may include but are not limited to:

  • Referral for prosecution
