Entrance Counseling
First time Federal Direct Stafford Loan borrowers at AUM must complete a loan entrance counseling before funds can be disbursed. The Federal Direct Stafford Entrance Counseling is maintained on the Direct Loans web site.
Note: First time first year borrowers must wait 30 days from the after the first day of class before the 1st loan payment can be disbursed to the student's AUM student account.
Exit Counseling
Federal Direct Stafford Loan recipients ceasing enrollment at AUM due to graduation or less than half-time enrollment must complete Exit Counseling.
