Undergraduate Student Requirements

  • A completed AUM online application; no application fee. 
  • Your official high school transcript (which should be mailed or e-mailed directly to AUM from your high school) and official English translation if your transcript is not in English.

  • Proof of English proficiency (unless you are exempt). You can take the TOEFL IBT (minimum 61 points), the IELTS (minimum 5.5 points), PTE (minimum 44), or the TOEFL PBT (minimum 500 points). More information about English proficiency test requirements.

  • Proof of sufficient financial resources (Bank statement and/or letter from your sponsor in English). The bank statement should show at least $28,125 available.

Application Deadlines

AUM accepts students throughout the year.

  • If you want to start at AUM in fall semester, please apply by July 15.
  • If you want to start at AUM in spring semester, please apply by November 15.
  • If you want to start at AUM in summer semester, please apply by April 15.

Application Steps

  1. Complete Online Application.
  2. Send necessary documents to AUM.
  3. AUM reviews your application.
  4. If AUM needs more information and/or documents, we will contact you.
  5. If you are accepted, AUM sends you an acceptance letter and an I-20 Certificate.
  6. You pay a SEVIS fee and apply for a student visa at the US Embassy/Consulate in your country.
  7. What you need to do next.

Undergraduate Programs (12 credits a semester)

Tuition and Fees:  $17,265 a year*

Housing (Dorm):  $3,760 a year*

Health Insurance: $1,400 a year*

Textbooks: $1,000 a year*

Scholarships

Warhawk International Student Scholarship

Warhawk International Student Scholarship is for incoming and current international students who pay full out-of-state tuition.  It is based on academic merit, and it applies to tuition only and ranges from $2,000 to $4,000 per year.

$4,000 a year ($2, 000 for each semester of fall and spring semester)

Minimum requirements to receive up to $4,000 per year:

Freshman

High school GPA of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:

  • 76 or higher on TOEFL IBT, 
  • 540 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT, 
  • 6.5 on IELTS

Transfer students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale

Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.00 scale

Current students: 3.25 cumulative AUM grade-point average

$2,000 a year ($1,000 for each semester of fall and spring semesters)

Minimum requirements to receive up to $2, 000 per year:

Freshman

High school GPA of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale or one of the following language test scores:

  • 68 or higher on TOEFL IBT, 
  • 520 or higher on TOEFL ITP OR PBT, 
  • 6.0 on IELTS

Transfer students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale

Exchange students: Grade-point average (GPA) of 2.75 on a 4.00 scale
