Admission Process & Requirements

Who is Eligible?

To be eligible for the program, you must have the following admission criteria:

  • A composite score of 18 on the ACT or 940 on the SAT
  • At least an 18 on the English portion of the ACT or at least a 260 on the Verbal portion of the SAT
  • A high school GPA of at least 2.3
  • A completed new freshman application for admission at Auburn.

How does the Admission Process Work?

Auburn Guarantee letters are sent out directly from AU beginning in mid-November. Once you are invited to join the Auburn Guarantee Program, you can then indicate your interest in Auburn Guarantee through an online interest form. After a student officially indicates interest, AU forwards the student’s application and educational information to AUM. No additional application is necessary. Auburn Guarantee will then send you, electronically and by regular mail, more information about the program and instructions for submitting a deposit.

How can I reserve my spot in Auburn Guarantee?

You are not officially in the program until you have paid a non-refundable confirmation deposit to reserve your space. You can pay your confirmation deposit beginning in February. You will need your student ID Number to deposit (Student ID Numbers begins with an S). If you need assistance locating your Student ID Number, please call our office at 334-244-3460 and we would be happy to provide it for you. Since spaces in this very popular program are limited, we urge you to submit your interest and reserve your space as early as possible. The confirmation deposit will be accepted until June 1.
