The AUM Residence Hall Kill-A-Watt Challenge is an energy competition between North Commons and the West Courtyard area. The residential area that will have the largest decrease in energy use (percentage-wise) between March 19 and April 12, 2012 will be declared the AUM Kill-A-Watt Challenge winner. Through this competition, AUM will not only promote energy efficient behaviors among the student residents but also decrease the energy costs incurred by the Office of Housing and Residence Life for the two residential areas. The four-week long challenge will include additional educational events and fun activities that will stress the importance of energy conservation in day-to-day behaviors. Weekly updates will be available on this webpage or on AUM Green Alliance's Facebook page.
