Conference Services FAQ

Room availabilities and prices vary depending on the date and time you have requested. We can reserve any room on campus that is not being used for an academic class or booked by another group. Please contact Conference Services to verify availability for the specific date and time you are interested in reserving and to get a price quote.  A sampling of our rooms can be found on our facilities page.

Most of our events are conferences, seminars, academic events, and professional and corporate meetings. However, we also accommodate private functions such as birthday parties, receptions and reunions.

We currently do not rent space for events that serve alcohol.

We provide projectors, screens, microphones and sound system, and we can accommodate a number of different configurations.  Wired or wireless internet is available, and costs vary by services required.  Please contact the Conference Services office for more information.

  1. Contact AUM Conference Services to discuss your needs.  We will guide you to assess the most appropriate space to accommodate your needs and check availability. We will be more than happy to make an appointment to show you our conference spaces!
  2. After confirmation of room availability, a 30% down payment and contract signature are required to guarantee room reservation. The remainder of the rental fee is due before the beginning of the event.
  3. AUM requires proof of liability insurance for all individuals or groups renting a space on campus.  Please contact Conference Services to find out more about the requirements and how to obtain a Certificate of Insurance for your event.

Only if the event is terminated by the University will deposits and any prepaid fees be refunded. If the event is terminated by the client, AUM Conference Services will retain any and all deposits and prepaid fees.

AUM Conference Services will setup the room according to your specifications.  We can setup using round tables, 8’ long banquet tables, seminar tables, theater seating or any combination you like.  After the event, we will remove trash and vacuum.  We do not charge additional fees for these services, but we do ask that you please remove all food items and leave the room the way you found it.

Generally parking is available in the white-lined spaces in any of our student (non-housing) parking lots.  A parking pass is required, so please contact Conference Services to obtain a pass.  For large groups that are on campus during school hours, we provide shuttle service from a perimeter parking area that will deliver attendees directly to their destination.

Yes, we have a number of options available in our residence halls to accommodate guests staying in the area temporarily.  Please note housing accommodations may be limited during the academic calendar.  Please contact Conference Services for more information.

Yes, we house and host summer camps and offer a variety of price structures to accommodate any size group.  We have many indoor and outdoor spaces suited to all sorts of youth activities.
