Graduate Program Admission Requirements
- Graduation with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university for master’s degree; master’s degree for Ph.D. and Ed.S. candidates.
- Formal application
- Submission of official transcripts of all previous college-level work
- Submission of scores on the required admission test:
The MAT, GRE and GMAT can be considered if not over 5 years old.
AUM’s Office of Academic Affairs and Graduate Studies should receive your application at least three weeks before the beginning of the semester in which you expect to begin work. Official transcripts from all institutions previously attended must be forwarded via the U.S. Postal Service from the appropriate registrar directly to the AUM Office of Academic and Graduate Affairs.
International Graduate Students
International students who are already in the U.S. must be “in status” according to U.S. Immigration regulations in order to apply for an AUM graduate program. International student not currently in the use must meet federal immigration guidelines.
In addition, international students must provide transcripts of their college-level work in English, having their coursework analyzed by a recognized credentialing expert; demonstrate proficiency in English based on the TOEFL or IELTS; and make an acceptable score on the admission test required by the school for which they are applying.
