SACS Accreditation

Auburn University at Montgomery is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award the bachelor's, master's and specialist degrees. In 1973 AUM was accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools as an operationally separate institution. In 1978, 1988, 1998 and most recently in 2008, accreditation was reaffirmed by the Southern Association. AUM will be up for reaffirmation in 2018.
