Setting the Standard for Excellence
It's rigorous. But if you're up for the challenge, the education you will receive in Auburn Montgomery’s School of Nursing can put you in the driver's seat when it comes to your career.
In our program, you'll learn from some of the best nurse educators in the business. Then you'll get the opportunity to put your knowledge to the test with significant field work.
Success that shows
Our winning combination of classroom and field training has given us a reputation for excellence among those who employ our graduates. The highly competent Auburn Montgomery nursing graduates are in demand throughout the Southeast -- so much so that 97 percent of our nurses are hired within three months of graduating.
Highly competitive
Applications of qualified candidates for admission to nursing always exceed the number of seats we have available.
So where do you start?
The traditional four-year baccalaureate program has two components — a Lower Division and an Upper Division, each taking two years to complete if you attend on a full-time basis.
The Lower Division consists of courses in the humanities and the biophysical and behavioral sciences. Students who successfully complete this component then apply to the Upper Division, and if accepted, continue with a series of nursing courses and clinicals.
