Accounting
Earn Your Accounting Degree from a school that's a proven success.
In last year's EBI Survey, the School of Business ranked No. 1 against peer institutions for overall program effectiveness.
But the numbers only tell part of the story. The Auburn Montgomery Accounting program is taught by experienced professionals with decades of experience as professional accountants - people like:
Dr. Lee Gurley, a CPA who worked with international accounting firms for 20 years, primarily in the tax area, before returning to school to pursue an academic career.
Dr. Judy Kamnikar, a CPA, Certified Government Financial Manager and a Certified Government Finance Officer, who has published articles in The Government Accountants Journal, Public Productivity & Management Review, The Practical Accountant, The National Public Accountant, and Annual Advances in Business Cases.
Dr. Fred Jacobs, Lowder-Weil Chair in the Accounting and Finance Department; professor emeritus of Accountancy at Georgia State University; and professor of Business Administration, Accounting and Control at Luleå University of Technology, Luleå, Sweden. He is a Certified Management Accountant and CPA and practices forensic accounting in consultation.
