Ranger Challenge Team
For the Cadet Who Wants to Go to the Limit!
Physical training. Rifle marksmanship. Rope bridges. The Hand Grenade Assault Course. Machine gun assembly/disassembly. A 10-kilometer road march with full pack and equipment. Tests in patrolling and map reading.
The Ranger Challenge event is designed for those cadets who want to press the limits of physical endurance and courage. Wimps need not apply.
Both male and female cadets compete in the Ranger Challenge. You represent your school on a Ranger Challenge team. But there are no half-times, no bands, and no cheerleaders. You just keep going and going until you've exhausted all your reserves of strength and endurance, and then you go some more.
We'll give you the training. You supply the guts and determination.
If you really want to see what you're made of, and what you can accomplish once you pull out all the stops, then Ranger Challenge is for you.
And once you've competed on a Ranger Challenge team, you'll look at your peers who have never been seriously challenged in their entire lives. And feel sorry for them.
