Celebrate Constitution Day at AUM Sept. 17
The Auburn Montgomery Department of Political Science and Public Administration invites you to the 2009 Constitution Day program "The Bill of Rights in the 21st Century" on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 3:15 p.m. in Goodwyn Hall 112.
Dr. Tom Vocino, head of Politcial Science, will moderate a panel of faculty and honor students who will discuss constitutional issues in today's society from different perspectives. The panel will include:
- Dr. Linda Dennard, associate professor in Political Science and Public Administration
- The Constitution and Social Responsibility
- Dr. D’Linnel Finley, assistant professor in Political Science and Public Administration
- Constitutional Constrictions Since 9/11: The USA Patriot Act and Implications for the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendment Guarantees
- Brian L. Adams, honor student
- The USA Patriot Act and the Fourth Amendment
- Alysha K. Myers, honor student
- The Legality of Guantanamo Bay Incarcerations
