Summer Study in South Korea
AUM’s South Korea program enables you to spend four weeks at the University of Ulsan on South Korea’s southern coast. With this program, you will study, sightsee and participate in cultural events in addition to enjoying the sights in Ulsan, a metropolitan city located on the Sea of Japan. Upon completion of the program, you will receive four hours of academic credit.
The program consists of formal classes, field trips, and guest lectures by Hyundai executives. The main topic of the program is the tradition and industrialization of Korea. The geographic location and economic role of Ulsan give participants an unmatched opportunity to explore the country's rich past and cutting edge present.
The University of Ulsan provides free dormitory rooms and meals, and Auburn Montgomery pays all or a portion of the round trip airfare. However, you must pay an application fee of $150 and purchase travel insurance.
The deadline for applications generally is in December, and students are notified of acceptance by late January. Apply by sending a letter of interest, resume and copy of your AUM transcript to:
