Auburn Montgomery recognizes student achievement at Honors Day

2009 Chancellor Scholars
Auburn Montgomery's 2009 Chancellor's Scholars were recently recognized at the annual Honors Day ceremony. This year's honorees, pictured here with Chancellor John Veres, are: Angela Russell of Montgomery, School of Education; Sarah Bura of Atlanta, Ga., School of Liberal Arts; Tara Sallinger of Montgomery, School of Nursing; Kelly Cromer of Linden, School of Sciences; Tobias Mense, School of Business (not pictured). Chancellor's Scholars are outstanding students from each of AUM's five schools. It is the campus' highest academic honor bestowed upon students.


Bruce Alter
Bruce Alter of Montgomery receives the 2008–09 Men's Scholar Athlete Award from Auburn Montgomery Athletic Director Steve Crotz. Alter is a junior majoring in Biology at Auburn Montgomery.

 

Tereza Veverkova
Tereza Veverkova of Prague, Czech Republic, receives the 2008–09 Women's Scholar Athlete Award from Auburn Montgomery Athletic Director Steve Crotz. Veverkova is a junior majoring in Political Science at Auburn Montgomery.
