| After serving as a Teacher-in-Residence in the School of Education from 2004-2006, Michael is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education & Exercise Science. He worked for Montgomery County Public School Systems for 14 years as a Physical Education Specialist before coming to Auburn Montgomery. Courses taught at Auburn Montgomery include; Health Education and Physical Education in Elementary Schools, Wellness, Foundations of Health and Physical Education, Motor Development, Adapted Physical Education and supervises Physical Education Interns.
His research interest is in physical education pedagogy and childhood obesity.
Dr. Gross is also the Head Coach for Men and Women's Cross Country at AUM.
