Bio
A native of Mississippi, Anderson lived and taught in Mississippi, Virginia, California, Germany, and South Carolina before settling in Montgomery. At AUM, she has served as Director of Composition and taught courses in writing, research, literature (American, Southern, English), and editing. She has published works about Lella Warren, Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald, Harper Lee, Richard Marius, and Clifton Taulbert. With Blair Gaines, she directed publications by AUM students on Montgomery's street names and the historical markers in Montgomery County. Anderson created the partnership with Clifton Taulbert and directs the activities of that partnership -- Actions Build Community: The AUM-Taulbert Initiative
