Dr. Rosine W. Hall has been a professor of Biology at Auburn University at Montgomery since 1996, achieving the rank of full professor in 2009. She has served as Associate Dean of the School of Sciences, President of the AUM Faculty Council, and has received several university awards including the 2012 Faculty Service Award.  She has served as the Principal Investigator for the Cooperative Agreement between AUM and the Alabama USGS for over 10 years; this grant has brought over a million dollars to AUM.  She has received numerous grants, both internal and external from federal and state agencies.  Her research is broad in scope, reflecting diverse opportunities and collaborations at AUM.  Her long-term focus of research has been on the demographics and spatial patterns of flooded seedlings and saplings. She is also interested in the areas of water quality, global change,environmental protection, bioethics, and evolutionary biology. She has taught  many courses in Environmental Biology including Botany, Field Botany, Biostatistics, Environmental Pollution and Control, Ecosystem Ecology,Wetlands, and Capstone Biology.
