Help international students as a United Warhawk Ambassador

UWlogo_blastUnited Warhawks, organized by the Office of International Student Involvement and the International Student Association, is a service program providing a personal AUM friend to new international students during their first two months on campus. Most international students arrive a few days prior to the start of classes, and for many this will be their first trip to the United States. As an experienced AUM student, you can volunteer to ease their transition by becoming a United Warhawk Ambassador.

United Warhawk Ambassadors meet regularly with international students during the first two months of the semester. Ambassadors help answer questions about AUM, Montgomery or American culture, introduce international students to services on campus and in the community, and invite the students to social, cultural and athletic events on campus and in the Montgomery area. Becoming a United Warhawk Ambassador is an excellent way to meet international students and to become engaged in campus global activities. Send inquiries and applications to Sharen Phinney, Coordinator of International Student Involvement, at sphinney@aum.eduApplications will be accepted through April 28

Professors n' Pajamas offers students study assistance, out-of-the-classroom experiences with faculty and staff and a lot of fun while studying for final exams.
