TAKE 3 with Laurie O'Brien

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

I am a hula dancer. My mother and I took hula lessons the five years we lived in Hawaii. After graduating the hula program, I was given a Hawaiian name, Leilani. We continued to dance, and taught hula in Alabama for many years.

What part of AUM do you enjoy the most?

To me, the best part of AUM is working with the many faculty and staff, dedicated to our students and their success!

If you could do anything in the world, what would you do?

If I could do anything in the world, I would trade places with you for one day. That way, we could see each other from the heart. Within it, lays the good stuff..., the inner beauty we all possess. Too often, we judge and are judged by what we see on the outside, not for who we are on the inside.
