Software Support provides administrative computing systems support and data administration for the University's central administrative computing system. ITS is responsible for insuring the security and integrity of the central administrative system and database.
The departments provides and coordinates solutions for data collection and storage, training for end users using administrative software applications, the resolution of technical issues with administrative systems and the implementation of technical advances in software.
Auburn University at Montgomery runs the Banner System provided by SunGard. This is comprised of three systems: Student, Finance and Human Resources. The major activity of Software Support is to install and maintain the Banner system and its related servers and other independent servers.
