Auburn University at Montgomery is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, masters, educational specialist and doctoral degrees. In 1973 AUM was first accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. In 1978, 1988, 1998 and most recently in 2008, accreditation was reaffirmed by the Southern Association. AUM will be up for reaffirmation in 2018.
