Admission Requirements


If you're going to be a first-time freshman, you should know that AUM uses a combination of test scores and your high school GPA to determine your academic eligibility for admission. AUM utilizes the highest composite/total score in a single sitting.

To apply to AUM, you'll need to submit the required documents to the address at the bottom of this page.
(If you are U.S Citizen or U.S lawful permanent resident)
Undergraduate Freshman

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Your official high school transcript (which should be mailed directly to AUM from your high school).
      o  Your official ACT or SAT score report.
      o  Requirements: Full Admissions- minimum 18 ACT or 860 SAT score and 2.3 GPA.
          If you are a Bridge student, a minimum 17 ACT or 820 SAT score and 2.3 GPA is required.

 
Undergraduate Transfer Student

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Official transcript(s) from each college or university you’ve attended (which should be mailed directly to AUM by each institution).
      o  Requirements: Transfer students must have completed 24 or more hours of college level credit at a regionally accredited institution(s)
          with at least a 2.00 on all GPA hours (all graded hours) from all colleges or institutions attended.
          If you have fewer than 24 credit hours of transferrable work,you will need to meet the minimum admission requirements for entering freshmen.

 
Undergraduate Transient Student

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  An official Transient Authorization Form or Letter of Good Standing from the Registrar of the college or university of your home institution.
          There should be one form or letter for each semester you want to be transient (which should be mailed directly to AUM by each institution).

 
Unclassified Undergraduate Degree

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Official transcript from the institution from which you earned your degree.

 
Second Undergraduate Degree

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Official transcript(s) from each institution you have attended.
      o  Student must submit a degree bearing transcript.

 
Early Admission / Dual Enrollment

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Official high school transcript (which should be mailed directly to AUM from the school).
      o  Official ACT or SAT score report.
      o  Letter of recommendation from high school principal or guidance counselor.
      o  Requirements: 20 ACT or 950 SAT score; 3.0 or higher GPA.

 
Returning Student

      o  A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
      o  Official transcript(s) from each college or university you’ve attended other than AUM 
         (which should be mailed directly to AUM by each institution).
      o  Requirements: You must apply for readmission if you have not been enrolled.
          in undergraduate courses at AUM for one academic year (3 semesters) or more;
          attended another college since your enrollment at AUM and must be in good academic standing at the last school you’ve attended.
