Auburn Guarantee

Auburn Guarantee

Auburn Guarantee is a one-year, hands-on invitation-only program created for students who narrowly missed traditional admittance to Auburn. The program blends the best aspects of Auburn University with the best aspects of Auburn University at Montgomery into an exciting experience that prepares students for success in their college career. From the Auburn side, students are given the ability to participate in select Auburn clubs and activities, service learning organizations, cultural events, and concerts. From the AUM side, students will have access to smaller classes, live together in an on-campus Living Learning Community, participate in campus activities, and receive tailored academic support to prepare them for the transition to Auburn. Collectively the program offers comprehensive academic and co-curricular support from both institutions. After all, the goal of Seamless is to prepare YOU to be academically and socially successful at Auburn. Upon completion of the program, students are GUARANTEED admission to Auburn University!

Auburn Guarantee students complete their first-year coursework on the AUM campus. As part of this coursework, they will be enrolled in a yearlong University 1003 course that will take them to Auburn on Fridays for class and enrichment. The class will prepare students for their transition to Auburn by connecting them to resources, student groups, campus life and history. After completing this course, students will not have to go through any other orientation program and can seamlessly transition to Auburn. Other programming will be in place to help students acclimate to Auburn, as well. As long as students actively engage in programming, complete 30 credit hours, and earn a minimum 2.5 GPA while in the program, they will be guaranteed admission to Auburn University as a sophomore.
In order to be considered for the Auburn Guarantee program, students must first apply for freshman admission at Auburn. Then, if a student narrowly misses acceptance into Auburn and has at or above a 2.3 high school GPA and scores equal to or higher than 18 on the ACT (or equal to or higher than a 860 on the SAT taken prior to March 2016 OR equal to or higher than a 940 on the SAT taken March 2016 or later) AND equal to or greater than an 18 on the English portion of the ACT (equal to or greater than a 450 on the English portion of the SAT taken prior to March 2016 OR equal to or higher than a 260 on the SAT taken March 2016 or later), they are automatically eligible to receive consideration for the Auburn Guarantee program.

For those students that narrowly missed acceptance into Auburn, accepting the invitation to be a part of Auburn Guarantee is the first step to earning an Auburn University degree.
