The Office of Accountability is a department of Student Affairs dedicated to judicial compliance designed to support personal, academic and social development.
We work to ensure that students are knowledgeable of the guidelines that govern student conduct as outlined in the university Student Discipline Code of the Student Handbook. Not only does the office promote appropriate student conduct, it also guarantees that students have reasonable access to expectations. Compliance with the code is imperative to the foundation of academic learning and safety of the student body. Enforcement of the Discipline Code is implemented with a student-focused approach infused with restorative components.
In collaboration with the Office of Advocacy, we provide educational programming, resources, referrals, guidance, and skills training designed to enhance the AUM experience. The office works with students and student organizations to encourage compliance with university standards and maintains appropriate records of student conduct and disciplinary actions.
