Message from the Director

Welcome to the Office of East Asia Initiatives!

We are now in the era of globalization, and we all live in a small global village together. That being said, cross-cultural understanding, exchange, and communications are critically important. Through a variety of quality services and international educational and cultural exchange, the Office of East Asia Initiatives is dedicated to promoting better understanding and improving communications between people in the United States and the nations of the East Asian/Asian-Pacific area.

We seek to enhance the experiences of our foreign visitors in the U.S., and particularly at AUM, by providing quality services, programs, and activities that enhance awareness, make international educational and research opportunities available, and offer global perspectives for students, faculty, and staff.

Thank you for your kind attention!

We are excited that you have visited our website, and I encourage you to explore the services we offer.

Sincerely,

Wenzhong (Eric) Yang, Ph.D.
